Learn the most common compliance pitfalls impacting employers in our health insurance market, and position yourself as a true advocate for and consultant to your employer clients. The course covers ERISA compliance, COBRA administration, HRAs, FSAs, and Section 125 POP plans.

Paul Roberts is the Compliance Manager at the Word & Brown General Agency, responsible for leading Word & Brown’s dual-state compliance team in California and Nevada. Paul is a tenured veteran in the health insurance industry, carrying a long history of health insurance experience and an education in business management. He has performed nearly every operational role at Word & Brown General Agency in his more-than-decade-long tenure, and is devoted to keeping health insurance brokers and employers in-line with compliance. Paul is a licensed health insurance agent and has extensive experience running a health insurance agency, giving him firsthand knowledge of what real brokers and employers experience day-to-day.

Paul can frequently be found at industry events across California and Nevada delivering Continuing Education courses, educating himself, advocating for the role of the agent, and working directly with brokers and employers. This gives Paul the best ability to innovate and improve Compliance resources to support the businesses and abilities of brokers. All registrations will require concurrent payment. DEADLINE is 11/13/17

$50 - Non-Members

*Anyone not registering by 11/13/17  will be asked to pay $60 at the door

*Disclaimer: You must be a member of DCAHU to qualify for the member rate of $30. If you are not a member, but sign up at the $30 member rate, DCAHU requires that an additional $20 be submitted to total $50. 


2017-2018 Meeting Refund Policy

*Members Only: DCAHU will allow members a ONETIME-PER BUDGET YEAR pass to roll over their lunch fees to the next meeting if they had a TRUE EMERGENCY that came up within 72 hours of the meeting and outside of the regular cancellation policy (72 hrs). If they DO NOT attend the next scheduled luncheon meeting, there will be NO REFUND, even if they have called to cancel that well in advance of the 72 hrs of that meeting.

*Non-Members: DCAHU requires a 72 hours cancellation notice prior to the meeting. Any cancellation made after will not be refunded.
