This course provides health insurance professionals with an overview of the HIPAA Privacy applications during the COVID-19 pandemic, and how HIPAA’s Security & HITECH rules require an IT-security review while working at home.  The instructor will discuss the laws that apply, and how they can be managed in the agency setting, while working at home, as well as an overview of real-world steps that can be taken to ensure compliance.   For webinar attendance, attendee questions will require online responses throughout the class.

Ted Flittner has broad experience with increasing the value of all types of processes by providing clients with sustainable and continued improvements. His philosophy is that any process can be improved upon, and that every process can be profitable, rewarding, and stress-free. *Members Only: DCAHU will allow members a ONETIME-PER BUDGET YEAR pass to roll over their lunch fees to the next meeting if they had a TRUE EMERGENCY that came up within 72 hours of the meeting and outside of the regular cancellation policy (72 hrs). If they DO NOT attend the next scheduled luncheon meeting, there will be NO REFUND, even if they have called to cancel that well in advance of the 72 hrs of that meeting.

*Non-Members: DCAHU requires a 72 hours cancellation notice prior to the meeting.
Any cancellation made after will not be refunded.
